tomatillos... God's little lanterns

Remember the tomatillo plant Bentley has helped me water? I am not a salsa fan (but Drew is) and apparently, tomatillos make a mean salsa (so does my father-in-law, so I've been told.) I have been amazed at what has transpired in our little pot of a vegetable deck garden.

I love the delicate nature of the transition between bloom and something edible.
