THE haircut

While "two responsible adults were present" (said my mother-in-law jokingly, lol) Bentley decided to cut her hair all by herself.  Drew was busy getting things ready for a birthday party he was throwing for me, I was out shooting portraits, while Kelly was watching Emery.  Drew said he didn't think twice when Bentley asked to take her scissors into Emery's room.  He said he even thought, "Wow, Lindsay lets her take them in there?" (uh, no, honey, I don't.)

When she walked out of Emery's room, Kelly exclaimed, "Oh, I didn't know you got bangs!" As Drew follows with, "wait, WHAT??!!??"

She cut her bangs super short, and while this photo doesn't do it justice, she also went a bit further on the right side of her head, you know, wanting to continue the look of her new bangs.  Surprisingly, she didn't do a half-bad job. :)

The next day, I was cleaning out Emery's closet and realized that it was here that the crimes occurred.  Remnants of blonde Bentley hair as well as locks of Sleeping Beauty's hair were scattered in the closet.

Kelly and Cliff had the girls that weekend so Drew and I could go on a church leader retreat. While we were there, Kelly asked if she could take Bentley to get her hair fixed, I said "Sure!"

Here is our little blondie with a remedied version of what she tried to do herself.

Don't you think she got the idea from the haircut app game on Grammie's phone? Seems to be a link there, me thinks...hmmm. Ha. Looks adorable. XO

I once tried to give myself a haircut..

Only I was 15 and it didn't look nearly as good as what Miss Bentley accomplished...

Not sure how that makes me feel. :(

I cut my hair at the same age. It was my bangs. It was bad. On the carpet under my grandparents piano. Oops! It looks better now though. :)
