Whenever I do laundry, "Mr. Spider" greets me. Today he was pretty bold and climbed up the wall a wee bit. If you know me well, you know I despise spiders. However, Mr. Spider and I have an understanding: he is welcome to hang out near my dryer; as long as he doesn't move from his spot, I let him live.

He is so lucky I did not see him while living there or he would be dead.
so funny! when i lived with harold i had a similar agreement with a spider, and i honored it for several months, but then he enlarged his web a little...and i killed him.
Lauren! you crack me up! So far, he hasn't emerged, at least while I have been down in the basement, but I have wondered recently how he eats, hmm... he must have to leave his hideout sometimes...
We had a large "Mommy" spider on the window of the garage door on Russell before moving to Brouse. I used to catch flying insects and throw them to her. It took her less than a second to scramble down her web and roll her treat up to save for later. I bet your Mother remembers her. Love you, Dad
