our carrots

While I intended to do a large backyard garden last year, a little pot on our porch was the only location that housed a small assortment of strawberries and carrots.

The strawberries have gone to the birds (literally) and just a few have made it into the hands (and tummy) of a little blonde 3-year-old.

The carrots, however, needed to be picked with Fall closing in.  Tonight was the harvest... and it was plentiful... enough for a little tummy anyway.
