white as snow

"Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."
Isaiah 1:18

The alleyway behind our home tonight. I love that when it is enveloped in snow that it appears as it isn't; inviting, pure and beautiful. When I see our recycle pile, overthrown garbage cans or a discarded food wrapper covered in snow, it always reminds me of the beautiful truth that Christ covered our ugliness so that we could stand holy before the Lord.
