oh my word, Bentley just started drooling today! If she drools anything like her Uncle Josh did, I will have to invest in several more bibs. (Love you bro.)
Here is visual proof of Uncle Josh's drooling issues. Check out the discoloration on his shirt under his chin! So gross, but cute at the same time. (By the way, Josh and I loved playing in the drawers in our room. We actually played well together as kids, minus of course our kicking matches on the couch. :)

One Flew over the Webster's Nest - a post from Drew
Lindsay has become very skilled at changing Bentley's clothes. She just does it intuitively at this point. Unbutton, roll up, arms out, over the head and off it goes. Me on the other hand... not so skilled. I've got the unbutton part down quite well. Its the arms out part the I can't seem to get down. Fortunately Bentley is very patient with me as I drag her through this fiasco of changing. By the time I even remotely make progress on getting her arms out of that onesie, she may as well be in a straight jacket, and believe me her eyes say she knows it. She just looks at me like, "If I could talk I could guide you through this but I've got another year-year and a half before that technology is installed so you're going to have to figure it out on your own... but I know you can do it.". Seriously, all that in just one look. I think she knows by now that when daddy picks her up to go change her clothes it's off to the insane asylum.

Bentley sees Bentley
Bentley started noticing her own reflection this last weekend. Drew held her up to a mirror at his aunt and uncle's home and Bentley just stared! I had tried to show her her reflection before, but she just kept looking at me through the mirror - ha. I decided to capture her seeing herself on camera... enjoy!

Smiles
Bentley vs. the Bug
In the last few days, Bentley just started to notice her own hands as well as objects around her. I decided to record her and her "bug". Notice the battle, and the exchange of words. I think the bug surrenders in the end while Bentley lets out a smile of victory.
Weekend with the Websters
Every year we head to Omak to celebrate Drew's grandpa's birthday. Here are some of the family photos! To see more famliy photos, go to www.flickr.com/photos/lindsaybrookephotography

Daddy's Little Nun
The following video is what happens when Drew gets the video camera. While I was preparing her bath, Drew decided to videotape. Notice how patient Bentley is with her daddy while he dresses her as a nun. ha! enjoy... I love my husband.

hope this continues...
Bentley slept through the night last night! I was so tired, I fed Bentley, and then went to sleep at 8:45pm. Drew took care of her and woke me up at 11:30pm to have her eat again and then she didn't wake up until 7:15am! Yay! We'll see if this was a fluke or starts a trend :)
UPDATE: It was a fluke :(

I love the Beatles
I am singing the "Across the Universe" version of the Beatles song, "All my loving'" to Bentley. I believe this is the first, last and only record of my singing voice. Please don't laugh, it was all for my daughter :) Also, at one point in the video, I say her name and she looks up!
I swore I wouldn't...
.. but I do! I am totally guilty of using my mom saliva to wipe off Bentley's face! Gosh, I do it all the time! oh my... I also have no problem simply pulling snot out of her nose with my bare fingers! Who knew? I guess once you're a mom, anything goes. ha.

Cousin Aya came to visit!
Drew's cousin Jill is moving back to Washington from Alaska and had her daughter Aya just a month befoer Bentley was born. Drew and Jill are the oldest Webster cousins and they are now both parents to the oldest younger Webster cousins. Jill was great during my pregnancy, calling me so we could swap stories. She made me feel a lot better about getting the epidural! The girls were so cute today, smiling and talking and they are both off the charts in height and weight!

Daddy is funny
I took this this morning of Bentley and Drew. She LOVES mornings, just like her mom. She is always super smiley, and even more so when Drew is making her laugh.
