I was wiggling my fingers in front of Bentley's face and then moving my hand slowly from left to right and she was tracking with her little eyes... it is one of our 'awake games' now :) She is so much more responsive now, pretty fun

Sleeping Beauty

Note below Bentley's different positions of sleep. Drew and I no longer swaddle her arms in her blanket because she will struggle and struggle and grunt until she gets her arms out. She also loves touching her face and will emphatically hold her pacifier to her face if we give it to her. She sleeps like her mom, but wakes up like her dad. It takes forever to wake her up as she stretches, moans and smacks her lips upon actually waking up. She 'hits the snooze' as many times as her dad.

This is just one of my many nicknames for Bentley... 'pea pod' 'smiles' 'toots' (yep, she is her father's daughter). She smiles all the time, and not just because she is passing gas or going "number two". She has a myriad of faces, her dad and I are mesmerized by her many looks.

95th Percentile

Well, it looks like Bentley lives up to her tall parents. At her 2-week check-up the doctor deemed her in the 95th percentile for height, weight and head circumference!
