We enjoyed our first family day as a family of five at pumpkin farms this weekend. The girls loved the "cow train," sling-shotting pumpkins, the tower of tires, "driving" tractors and the corn maze.  We also picked out a pumpkin for each member of our family.

Layne

Miss Layne Drew Webster joined us at 2:43pm on Monday, September 10, 2012.  9 lbs. 1 oz. and 19 in. of beautiful girl.  The name Drew is from her dad and means, "wise" and Layne means "path". Mommy and daddy and her two sisters are already enjoying her addition to make our family of four, five.

Fall craftiness

Here is my crafty contribution to celebrate fall. Between contractions and doing art projects with my kiddos, this wreath was born (however, not my third daughter just yet).  The foam ring that the yarn is wrapped around is from the dollar store, I already had the yarn and random scraps of fabric I used for the flowers (which I learned how to do through various online tutorials). The lavender is from a friend's garden and is only straight pinned in so I can replace it next year.

Preparing for Baby Layne

With the car cleaned and vacuumed, bassinet sheets tucked in, clothing washed and folded, infant car seat installed, diaper bag packed and a little outfit purchased just for her, we are officially ready to welcome Miss Layne Drew Webster to the family...
